Jay Z Is Maybe Working On A Sequel To Beyoncé’s “Lemonade"

Welcome to Day 13 of Bey-Watch: Lemonade Edition.

Sources have reportedly told Us Weekly that Jay Z is working on a retaliatory album to Beyoncé’s surprise release, Lemonade (which, as you surely know by now, may or may not detail his philandering).

Jay’s record will apparently tell “his side of things”. If true, this suggests he is indeed confirming the autobiographical nature of Bey’s record… or, at least, is aware that this newly-unearthed marital drama is a potential gold mine.

Of course, Us Weekly is hardly the New York Times, so take this news with a pinch of salt. Besides, wouldn’t any future Jay Z release be considered a response to Lemonade?

In the meantime, you can read our review of Lemonade here, as well as our hot hot hot take on Triple J’s decision to give it a daily spin.
