How to Watch the Extended "Avengers: Endgame" Re-Release in Australia

You could not live without Avengers: Endgame. Where did that bring you? Back to cinemas.

Avengers: Endgame really, really, really wants to become the highest grossing film in history.

And if you want to help this underdog story of a lifetime reach its fairytale conclusion, you can check out a semi-extended edition of the film in Aussie cinemas during the weekend of 29 - 30 June only.

After that, you’ll have to say goodbye to the possibility of seeing this epic Marvel team-up on the big screen ever again, because it’ll likely leave theatres whenever its global box office overtakes that of Avatar (which could be as soon as the weekend of 29 – 30 June, we suppose).

Endgame—which, you surely don’t need reminding, was already a bladder-busting three hours plus—is going to be supersized with a new video introduction from director Anthony Russo, and, after the credits, an "unfinished deleted scene" from the film, a little "tribute" and a special sneak peek at Spider-Man: Far From Home.

There’s even a commemorative poster for the re-release that, no kidding, kind of gives away the ending. And it’s tagline, “We love you 3000,” will surely get those tears pouring one more time.

So, those dates again for Australian Marvel fans: Saturday 29 June and Sunday 30 June. You can book your tickets right now at select cinemas. No word on whether those additional inclusions will be added as special features to the DVD or Blu-ray (due for release down under on 14 August).

By the way, for those keeping score, Avengers: Endgame has so far grossed $US2.75 billion to Avatar’s total tally of $2.78 billion. It is… inevitable.
