"Avengers: Endgame" Is Apparently More Than Three Hours Long

Prepare your bladders for the endgame.

If you’re wondering how much Hawkeye adds to an Avengers film, we finally have an answer: about 33 minutes.

The runtime for Avengers: Endgame was accidentally revealed by American theatre chain AMC (and confirmed by online ticket purchasing app Fandango), and it’s a bladder-busting 182 minutes.

At three hours and two minutes, total, it’s officially the longest movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The previous record-holder was Avengers: Infinity War at 149 minutes, but that movie was conspicuously devoid of any Hawkeye, so when you take his Endgame presence into account, the additional 33 minutes makes a lot of sense.

Also, for those keeping score, Avengers: Endgame is four minutes longer than The Godfather, but still 20 minutes shorter than The Godfather: Part II. So, it’s not all bad.

Of course, it’s not 'official' official until Disney reveal the running time. However, you're crazy if you think Earth’s mightiest heroes can reverse Thanos’ genocidal wipe-out in under two hours.

Anyway, you’ll certainly be getting bang for your buck when Avengers: Endgame hits cinemas on 25 April. Maybe just don’t slam a large drink during the trailers… Oh God, we forgot about the trailers that’ll play first.
