How to Watch "Saved By The Bell" In Australia

Our parents will be so proud.

Looks like we’ll really be living our parents' lives after all now that a reboot of Saved By The Bell is coming to screens in November.

In late September it was confirmed that a 'reimagined' (not rebooted) version of the '80s classic with Zack, Jessie, Lisa, Slater and Kelly will be on streaming services by 25 November 2020.

A.C. Slater (Mario Lopez) and Jessi Spano (Elizabeth Berkley Lauren) return to the set along with Principle Toddman (John Michael Higgins) and the new class of 2020, played by Belmont Cameli, Dexter Darden, Michell Hoog, Alycia Pascual-Peña, Haskiri Velazquez and Josie Totah.

The new series sees California governor Zach Morris as he gets into some trouble for closing too many underfunded high schools and suggests they instead move to the better-funded schools, including Bayside High of course.

The Bayside kids begin to learn a thing or two about privilege and reality as the influx of new kids share their experience and connect with them.

Written and produced by Tracey Wigfield (30 Rock) as well as Franco Bario (That ‘70s Show) with Universal Television, it’s bound to bring a whole bunch of new fans to the franchise and potentially give our parents a little bit of nostalgia.

Alright, where can I watch it?

The good news is, it’s being fast tracked to Australia on the same day that it’s being released in the US.

If this is something you can’t miss, it’ll be available to stream on Stan from 25 November

The announcement of Stan hosting this new series is no huge surprise as their recent partnership with NBCUniversal will see a huge line up of new content fast tracked and premiered on Stan.

Stan recently released Brave New World and I Hate Suzie so watch this space for more new content on Stan.

If you're wanting to start from scratch and watch the original series, we've got some bad news. For now it looks like it's not available to stream anywhere in Australia just yet, so maybe give stan a nudge.

Here’s the trailer if you want a sneak peak, show your mum if you dare.
