How to Get Bonus VC and MyTEAM Packs in "NBA 2K21"

How to Get Bonus VC and MyTEAM Packs in "NBA 2K21"

It’s, like, right there for the taking.

Few things in life are easy, and that very short list definitely doesn’t include mastering NBA 2K21’s new shooting function.

However, one thing that is easy is earning virtual currency (VC) and bonus packs for 2K21. In fact, there’s a hack that’ll let you gain bonuses every day without you even playing 2K21 at all (though, why would you deprive yourself?).

Woah, hold up. What’s VC and why do I need it?

So, let’s say you’re playing 2K21 and you decide you’re in the mood to create a superteam that includes Mamba-edition Kobe Bryant, 2009-era LeBron James, Wilt Chamberlain, a pre-Bulls Dennis Rodman and Tacko Fall. First of all: Huh. Second: You can!

Though you could have a crack by trading like crazy in MyLeague mode, you can’t incorporate earlier versions of iconic players or those legends from the past; just those in the current roster.

The only way to recruit the legends is through NBA 2K’s MyTEAM mode, and you’ll need plenty of virtual currency (VC) to buy packs and/or players to load up your team accordingly.

Great! So, how do I earn VC?

Well, you can earn VC by playing the game, even in Play Now mode (provided you, y’know, win). However, there are specific daily challenges in MyTEAM mode that allow you to collect more.

If that’s not enough, there is one very sneaky way to collect additional VC, or to skip that entirely and collect packs full of players.

The trick: Play the My NBA 2K21 app.

Just like all the preceding versions of the My NBA app, this year’s edition offers regular opportunities to accumulate VC through daily rewards and events. Check in regularly (and be sure to login with the details you use to play 2K21 on your console) and keep an eye on the events to win VC accordingly.

Otherwise, follow the official MyTeam Twitter, as they’ll regularly drop Locker Codes which you can use to score bonus packs.

Just track their tweets and when they drop a new code, enter it into the app before it expires. (Or, ahem, just go here for the archive.) Voila! You may get that vintage Rodman in your Team.
