How Quickly Could You Run Up 1,103 Stairs?

Meet Shannon Tori and her mother Kate.
This post is presented in partnership with The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Western Australia (MSWA).
After being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis on May 1, Shannon decided to take the Step Up for MS challenge, which will see her and her team of family and friends climb 1,103 stairs (that's 53 flights) to the top of Perth's Central Park building on Sunday June 7, 2015.
It's a challenge she's ready to face head on.
We took Shannon and Kate to Central Park for a trial run ahead of Step Up for MS, as well as to ask them about their strategy for the gargantuan task on the day.
If you live in WA, fundraise for MS by running, walking or crawling 1,103 stairs – that’s 53 flights – to the top of Perth’s tallest and most iconic building, Central Park, on Sunday 7 June 2015. Register to join Student Edge’s ‘Step Up for MS’ team for the reduced price of $30. Register by 29 May 2015 to go in the draw to win 1 of 2 running kits (including singlet, water bottle, cap and shoe laces).
