How to Plan Your Exam Study
The best thing you can do for yourself is be organised. That’s why we created this little set of planners to help. Here’s how to use them...
Monthly Planner
This is a blank monthly spread which you can fill in however suits you. Add in all the important dates, especially your exams and assessment deadlines. This will be your overarching view of the month ahead.
Weekly Planner
Go through and grey out any time slots that are unavailable for study: sleep, work shifts, classes and any other commitments. Now you have a great weekly view of the time available to you for studying. Use some coloured markers/highlighters to create a key so you can allocate time slots across the subjects you need to study for!
Study Session Planner
No point just writing 'revise biology'. Break down each subject and what you're planning on tackling within a chunk of time. Remember: Having a rest is important! Use a timer to break up your study (or, take advantage of the Break Tracker). For instance, you might do 25 minutes of study followed by a 15-minute break. Hey, you earned it!
Don't forget to use our Grade Calculator!
Our Grade Calculator helps you track your subjects or units as you progress through the year. Then, it forecasts a final grade result range based on your known marks so far and your outstanding assignments and exams. It's not too late to calculate!
