Here’s One Good Thing About the Future: There Will Be a Fifth Season of "Black Mirror"

If Black Mirror has ruined the future for you, you’ve still got one thing to look forward to: More Black Mirror.

Netflix has confirmed a fifth season of their British import is in the works.

It comes after the launch of their divisive (aren’t they all?) fourth season back in December.

In a short teaser posted to the Black Mirror Twitter page, we see a bunch of video screens playing various episodes, suddenly cutting out, only to make way for the tagline, "Be right back."

"Be Right Back" is, of course, the title of one of their more despairing episodes (aren’t they all?).

While you wait for the return of Black Mirror, which, given previous production schedules, could be up to two years away, why not play with their nightmarish dating app, Coach, or revisit the last season’s most underrated episode, "Metalhead".

BTW, if Black Mirror showrunner Charlie Brooker is taking suggestions, we’d be more than happy for a sequel to Season Four standout "USS Callister", if that speeds things up at all.
