Here Are the 10 Best "Gossip Girl" Memes, Ranked

It’s the dumb humour we need at the moment.

If you grew up watching Gossip Girl, it’s likely that it got you through some trying times. When you had a fight with your BFF, Blair and Serena were there to remind you what true, uh, friendship looks like. When life felt tedious, the mere phrase "Hey Upper East Siders" would spice things up in an instant.

Well, it looks like the show is here to save the day yet again. Unfortunately, the reboot hasn’t arrived early, but we’ve been treated to something even better.

Some ridiculously perfect memes to cure our isolation boredom.

Over the past week, people’s Twitter feeds have been overloaded with a Gossip Girl poster featuring Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively) and Blair Walford (Leighton Meester). The show’s title is anagrammed to make it seem like Blair is responding to something Serena said.

As we’ve come to realise, there are a lot of words you can create with the letters that spell the title. And while it’s possibly the stupidest meme of 2020 so far, we need it now more than ever.

The gossip girl meme is the only thing recently that has made me feel a real emotion this entire week so I’m making a thread
