Let's spill the tea, shall we?

Hey Upper East Siders, boy do we have some spicy news for you.

It appears that a juicy teaser for the upcoming Gossip Girl reboot series has been released ahead of the series premiere.

Starring Jordan Alexander, Eli Brown, Thomas Doherty, Tavi Gevinson, Emily Alyn Lind, Evan Mock, Zion Moreno, Whitney Peak and Savannah Lee Smith, the new show follows a fresh generation of New York private school teens being introduced to social surveillance nine years after the original blogger's website went dark.

Oh, and did we mention Kristen Bell is returning as the voice of Gossip Girl? That's right. Just check out the teaser below to hear it for yourself.

I can't wait. How do I watch it in Australia?

You can also stream all past seasons of Gossip Girl on BINGE if this has made you want to rewatch every episode.

The Gossip Girl reboot has been developed by Joshua Safran, who was a writer and executive producer on the later seasons of the original show.

This season will contain ten episodes, which will run for an hour each, so you better start mentally preparing yourself for all the tea now.

While none of the OG cast are confirmed to return, they'll still be a part of the show. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight in December 2019, Safran pointed out how much he'd love them to come back in some way.

"The characters talk about them and that they do exist. So yeah, I would love to have them come back. The show jumped five years in the future when it ended and we are past that five years now, so it's whole new things that they could be doing," he told the publication.

Well, it looks like it's time for you to get out your old headband and dust off your beret 'cos you've got some drama to devour this July.
