How to Watch the "Friends" Reunion Special in Australia

It's happening.

In February 2020, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry all posted the same photo on Instagram to announce a Friends reunion special.

Unsurprisingly, the update broke the internet.

It was revealed that the Friends reunion would be an "unscripted special", which means that the cast will be sitting around and discussing the show, rather than creating an entirely new episode.

HBO Max confirmed that they'll be returning to the iconic comedy's original soundstage, Stage 24, on the Warner Bros. Studio lot in Burbank to film the special.

Look, we'll take what we can get.

While we've known about the reunion special for quite some time, we weren't entirely sure how Aussies would be able to watch it.

So, how do I watch it in Australia?

You'll be able to stream the Friends reunion special express from the US at 5:02pm AEST on Thursday 27 May on BINGE and Foxtel.  (Affiliate disclosure: Student Edge may earn a commission if you click that link and buy a product from our partner's page.)

If you simply can't wait that long for some more Friends content, you can check out the trailer from BINGE.

Last week, it was revealed that The Late Late Show host James Corden would be running the panel.

It's safe to say fans weren't exactly happy about the chosen host, considering he never actually appeared in the show.

Producers have invited a massive list of stars to appear in the reunion special, including Justin Bieber, BTS, David Beckham, Cindy Crawford, Cara Delevingne, Larry Hankin (Mr Heckles), Christina Pickles (Ross and Monica’s mum), Lady Gaga, Elliott Gould (Ross and Monica’s dad), Kit Harington, Tom Selleck (Richard), James Michael Tyler (Gunther), Mindy Kaling, Thomas Lennon (Joey’s hand twin), Maggie Wheeler (Janice), Reese Witherspoon (Rachel’s sister Jill) and Malala Yousafzai.

If you feel like binge-watching Friends before watching the reunion special, you can stream all 10 seasons on Netflix, BINGE and Foxtel Now.
