Here Are All the Best “Star Wars” Day Gaming Deals

May the fourth be with you.

Who would have thought that all those years ago a silly pun involving May and Star Wars would actually turn into the official Star Wars Day on the calendar? Makes me love people even more.

Of course, the date has morphed into a major day for retailers selling anything under the Star Wars banner.

This year, online stores for PlayStation, Xbox and Steam have released their deals a couple of days early.

So, to help you celebrate the most important annual sci-fi date, here are all the best deals for Star Wars games on offer for May the 4th.

PlayStation

The PlayStation store is offering massive discounts on Star Wars games with Jedi: Fallen Order scoring a whopping 75 per cent off down to $24.95.

Star Wars: Battlefront 2 is available for $9.28 down from $30.95, which is an absolute steal if you are looking for a quality Star Wars game with heaps of online content.

Our final pick of the bunch is the outer space dogfighting game, Star Wars: Squadrons; slashed by 50 per cent to $29.97.

Xbox

The Microsoft store is offering very similar deals for Squadrons and Battlefront 2, with the former listed for the same price and the latter $0.30 cheaper for Xbox users (that’s almost a fifty-cent cone in savings).

Aside from those newer releases, check out the deals Microsoft have for some classic mid 2000s Star Wars games.

Republic Commando, Knights of the Old Republic (1 and 2) and the original Battlefront 2  have been adjusted to work on the latest Xbox Series S/X and are all available for $7.47 each.

That’s a steal for some of the best Star Wars games ever made.

Steam

For those of you operating on a PC, anything Star Wars is getting at least a 50 per cent discount on Steam.

Fallen Order is cut by 50 per cent, Battlefront 2 by 70 per cent and Squadrons down 60 per cent.

Like the Microsoft store, there are some crazy-old Star Wars games available on the cheap on Steam like Jedi Knight Academy, Starfighter and Rogue Squadron, which are all going for under $10.

Deal of the day goes to Steam's all-inclusive Star Wars Complete Collection bundle. It’s 26 Star Wars games usually totalling over $400 going for $110.17.

So much Star Wars. Such little time.

Are there any Star Wars day rumours?

Absolutely. It wouldn’t be a true celebration of Star Wars day without a few rumours about what may be revealed tomorrow.

First off, Reddit users are predicting that with PlayStation's free games for May dropping on Star Wars day, they’re bound to include a Star Wars game in the already announced Battlefield V and Stranded Deep.

Redditors believe either Fallen Order or Squadrons could be free for download for one day only on the PlayStation Store.

Elsewhere, Star Wars fans have high hopes that the first teaser trailer for Kenobi starring Ewan McGregor might casually drop as well, so watch this space.
