Harry Styles stans prepare to squeal ‘cos it's been revealed that the English singer appears in a surprise role for Marvel's upcoming film Eternals

This massive news was revealed at last night’s premiere of the film with the former One Direction band member making an unexpected cameo appearance in a post-credits scene.

Styles didn’t just show up as anybody in the scene though, he was revealed to be none other than Eros, the god of love and sex and brother to Thanos played by Josh Brolin in the Avengers films.

Honestly, it’s kinda fitting that Styles is cast as the god of love and sex, have you seen his glorious hair?

Details surrounding what actually takes place in the post-credits scene with Styles are slim, and given Marvel’s strict embargo policy surrounding spoilers, it’s a surprise that we actually know about Styles’ cameo at all.

What is Marvel’s Eternals?

Eternals is set after the events of Avengers: Endgame and focuses on an immortal alien race created by the Celestials. Secretly living on Earth for over 7,000 years, the Eternals band together again to protect humanity from their evil counterparts, the Deviants.

The film boasts a star-studded line-up, including Angelina Jolie, Kit Harrington, Richard Madden, Gemma Chan, Kumail Nanjiani, Salma Hayek, and of course Harry Styles.

With a cast like that and Nomadland director Chloe Zhao at the helm of the project, this film is almost guaranteed to be a winner for Marvel fans everywhere.

Marvel’s Eternals hits Australian cinemas on 3 November this year.
