Get Your Detective Hats Out Because "Making A Murderer: Part 2" Hits Netflix on 19 October

Get ready to be puzzled by part two of Making A Murderer.

It's been three years since the first part of Making A Murderer arrived, but Netflix is finally releasing the second part to the world.

Making A Murderer: Part 2 will see a shift toward the post-conviction phase of the Teresa Halbach murder with Stephen Avery and his nephew, Brendan Dassey, fighting to overturn their convictions.

Just a few months ago, Avery's lawyer, Kathleen Zellner, known for overturning wrongful convictions, submitted a 599-page defence paper suggesting that she had evidence implicating an older brother of Dassey.

She explains in the trailer that she is determined to prove Avery's innocence. 

"I have one goal and that's to overturn the conviction of Steven Avery," Zellner says.

"If this case is solid [and] he's guilty, I'll fail."
