How to Get All the Info You Need to Start Uni, If You Didn't Make it to Open Day

Because things don't always go according to plan.
This post is presented in partnership with Queensland University of Technology.
How good is it that we can all be back on campus again? IRL lectures, coffee stops between classes and good vibes all round.
But sometimes, life gets in the way and we can't be everywhere all at once.

Like, what if your schedule means you can’t make it to Open Day? How can you be sure you don’t miss out on anything important in the leadup to going to uni?
Queensland University of Technology has your back with a ‘Virtual Open Night’, similar to an Open Day, so you can stay up to speed.
Here’s everything you need to know.
What's happening?
The Virtual Open Night will give you the chance to find out everything you need to know about studying at QUT if you can't make it to the physical Open Day.
Live chat with staff about courses, careers, entry to QUT and scholarships.
Get the lowdown from real students about uni life and the QUT experience during the live student panel.
Explore the university's labs, clinics, and studios via virtual tours.

When?
It's all going down digitally between 5pm and 8pm on Wednesday 31 August.
There will be live webinars to tune into which you'll be able to join online from the comfort of your own space. You can see the schedule here.
All you've gotta do is fill out the registration form and you'll get access to the virtual platform for the event.

Why?
Are you trying to work out what to study at university, where is best to study your course of choice, or if you even want to go at all?
There are a bunch of places you can go to for help, like a careers counsellor or a careers expo, but there's only one way to get a real vibe and that's going straight to the uni itself.
Even if you didn't head along for Open Day, you can tune in for a virtual webinar and still get first-hand experience of the uni and everything they offer.
It's your best chance to suss out the amenities, meet academic staff and students (and maybe even some new friends) and ask all the questions you've been dying to know the answer to.

Discover the opportunities that will help shape your future with QUT’s Virtual Open Night on Wednesday 31 August.
