“Game of Thrones”: Arya and Sansa Stark Were Reunited on “National Sisters Day”, FYI

The Stark family is finally coming together on Game of Thrones, although, the reunion has been a dour one so far.
Then again, can you blame them?
Last week, Sansa was left reeling by her newly-weird brother Bran. And this week, Arya and Sansa’s reconciliation was short-lived, when Sansa discovered her sister had become a literal assassin (and saw that she’s stealing attention away from her guardian, Lady Brienne).

All in all, typical Northern-Westerosi moodiness.
But take heart: In real life, the Stark girls—Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams—are absolute delights, and actually seem to enjoy one another’s company.
Fittingly, they have matching “07.08.09” tattoos, indicating the day they both discovered they’d been cast as sisters on Game of Thrones.
It’s become an annual celebration for the girls, and it just so happens to (almost) coincide with “National Sisters Day” in the United States: Sunday, August 6.
And guess when their big reunion episode aired in the States this weekend: Sunday, August 6. (We got it on Monday, August 7, but only because Australia liiives in the fuuuutureeee!)
The two of them celebrated on social media (although, Sophie Turner’s a little less enthusiastic on Twitter; the last holiday she celebrated there was #NationalHotdogDay).

Thankfully, their story is not over yet.
