Five People Arrested for Dognapping Lady Gaga’s French Bulldogs

The singer's dog walker is making a fast recovery after being shot.
It’s good news for pop star Lady Gaga as the people behind the dognapping of her two beloved French Bulldogs have been arrested and charged.
In February this year, Gaga’s dog walker Ryan Fischer was out exercising all three of the musician's dogs when two men approached him demanding he hand over the pets.
Fischer was shot during the altercation and the men made away with two of the dogs.
Thankfully, he survived the assualt and has been making a quick recovery after having surgery to remove portions of his lung.
At the time of the event, Gaga was on-set in Rome filming Ridley Scott's new movie House of Gucci, alongside Adam Driver.
After being told about the incident, the singer posted a plea on Instagram for the safe return of her dogs and a $US500,000 reward. Not long after the dogs were returned at an LAPD station.

Three of the five arrested, James Jackson, Jaylin White and Lafayette Whaley, are believed to be involved in the robbery and shooting while the other two, Harold White and Jennifer McBride, were arrested as accessories to the crime.
McBride was later found to be the individual who returned the dogs, allegedly enquiring about the singer's $US500,000 reward.
Fortunately, police do not believe that the dogs were targeted because they were Gaga’s pets, but simply because French Bulldogs are an expensive breed.
“This was a brazen street crime that left a man seriously wounded,” LA County District Attorney George Gascón said regarding the theft and assault.
“We have alleged very serious charges in this case and have faith that justice will be appropriately served as this case unfolds in court.”
According to TMZ, Lady Gaga’s dognappers have been found and arrested this Thursday. The robbers have been charged with attempted murder and robbery. The woman who “found” the dogs, was also arrested, and that's why Lady Gaga was advised by the cops to not pay the $500K reward.

Between the five of them, the arrested are being charged with attempted murder, robbery, assault, and concealing a firearm in a vehicle.
As for Koji and Gustav, the Frenchies at the centre of the drama, they are safe and sound back with Mother Monster.
