Lady Gaga and Adam Driver Look Fierce in "House of Gucci" Photo

We stan these co-stars.

Lady Gaga has sparked movie fans’ interest, revealing a first-look at the costumes she and co-star Adam Driver will be wearing in their upcoming film, House of Gucci.

The film, directed by British filmmaker Ridley Scott (Blade Runner), is a crime drama set in 1995 about Italian fashion heir Maurizio Gucci (Driver) and the successful plot to murder him devised by his ex-wife Patrizia Reggiani (Gaga).

Sounds pretty damn juicy!

Reggiani, affectionately labeled the “Black Widow”, made headlines when on trial in 1998 for the murder plot, and was convicted and sentenced to 29 years in prison. After serving 18 years, she was released in 2016.

The pop star posted a photo of her and Driver posing on set to her Instagram account. (Seriously, is this perfect casting or what?).

Gaga once again appears to have ditched her blonde hair in favour of going brunette for the role, much like she did for A Star Is Born.

The singer is also dressed in all-black attire, multiple gold necklaces (which surely weigh her down), and a white Russian fur Cossack to complete the look.

We think she looks straight fire, and so does the rest of the twitterverse.

It may be an exceptionally glamorous costume for Gaga, but Driver's outfit is really stealing the show here.

He's wearing a knitted white turtleneck. Need we say more?

Once known for the jet-black attire of the brooding Kylo Ren, this costume is the physical antithesis of his character in Star Wars.

Twitter was quick to pick up on the juxtaposition.

The costume reveal is some welcomed good news for the "Poker Face" singer, who recently had her two french bulldogs, Koji and Gustav, stolen at gunpoint whilst being exercised by her dog walker. 

Gaga offered a $US500,000 reward for the safe return of her beloved hounds who have since been found, though it is unclear whether she has paid up yet.

House of Gucci is currently in production in Italy and scheduled for release in November this year. The film is based upon the novel The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed by Sara Gay Forden.

Also starring in the film are Jeremy Irons, Al Pacino and 30 Seconds to Mars frontman Jared Leto.
