Chobani Have Dropped Dog Yoghurt, So Your Hound Can Indulge Just Like You

Why didn’t they call it doghurt?

Chobani were already one of Australia’s favourite yoghurts, but now they’ve solidified that status by releasing the first-ever dog-friendly yoghurt.

Called ‘Daily Dollop’, this little treat was specially designed for doggos and doggos only.

Now, we know what you’re thinking already: can dogs eat dairy?

Chobani have already thought of that ‘cos Daily Dollop is lactose-free, so it ain’t gonna disrupt your fur baby’s lil’ belly.

Aside from being lactose-free, the yoghurt is made with live cultures (that’s good bacteria) and probiotics to help dogs digest their food better ‘cos we all know they just love to woof it down way too fast.

On top of that, the treat is jam-packed with protein and calcium to help strengthen your best friend’s bones and teeth. Maybe I will try some of this for myself…

If you’re wondering if this is all just a marketing ploy by Chobani and not actually good for your dog, think again. This bad boy has got the seal of approval from Dr Brooke Schampers who’s a Vet with the Animal Emergency Service.

“Yoghurt is such a great source of nutrients for pets, especially dogs, and Daily Dollop serves as a welcome addition to their daily protein and calcium intake," Dr Schampers said.

That’s all we needed to hear.

The only downside to this whole dog yoghurt is that Chobani didn’t call it ‘doghurt’. I don’t think I can forgive them for that.

If you wanna spoil your dog with some Chobani Daily Dollop, it’s available now in the chilled pet food section at your local Woolies. Unfortunately, they haven't let slip how much it will cost.
