Exams Coming up? Here Are Some Self Care Ideas to Look After Yourself

It’s almost exam time again….🫠

Exam time can be super stressful, and we can forget to look after ourselves.

We’ve put together some self care activities and ideas for you so you can look after yourself during study and exam time.

And if you need a little extra something, head here to check out our self care deals, resources and competitions.

Move your body.

We think we all know that sitting at a desk for four hours straight isn’t great for us 🤭

It’s super important for our health and wellbeing (maybe even sanity) to take a break and move our bodies.

Go for a walk outside or become a pilates princess, whatever will get you up or moving. If you can move your body for at least 30 mins a day, you’ll feel good and take care of yourself.

Get off your phone 1 hour before bed.

We know, we like to scroll on TikTok until midnight too 😩

But the blue light from our phones prevents us from winding down and keeps us up at night.

By getting off our phones at least one hour before bed, we allow our body to get the rest it needs.

Meditating or reading a book before bed will allow you to fall asleep faster and have a more restful night.

Make a Spotify playlist of all your favourite songs🎧

Whether it’s Taylor Swift, SZA or The Weeknd, create a playlist of songs that bring you happiness, confidence, and comfort.

Play it around the house, in the car and even in the shower.

Surround yourself with good vibes 🙌

Journal your thoughts.

Pick out a journal and write down what you’re feeling and what’s going on in your life at the moment. You can even find prompts to follow on Google.

Journalling allows you to understand your feelings more clearly and gain control of your emotions.

It can be great for improving your mental health during a stressful time.

Give yourself some you-time this exam szn. You’ll thank us later 🥰
