Emma Watson Takes Down ‘Feminism’ Critics: “I Really Don't Know What My Tits Have to Do With It."

Here’s that dose of realness you ordered.
Outspoken Beauty and the Beast star Emma Watson caused a (baffling) flap last week when she appeared (kind-of) topless in Vanity Fair, for which she was called a hypocrite by those who only have a fleeting understanding of feminism.
Anyway, if you thought the woman who played Hermione Granger would just sit back and take that kind of criticism, you are grossly mistaken.
Speaking to the BBC, Watson emphatically made her case.
“Feminism is not a stick with which to beat other women," she said.
"It's about freedom, it's about liberation, it's about equality. I really don't know what my tits have to do with it. It's very confusing.”
If you want further evidence of Emma Watson's feminists credentials, you can watch her address the UN on feminism, see her speak out on campus assaults, catch her interview with Malala Yousafzai and even witness her beatbox for gender equality. Hasn’t she given you enough?!
