In Totally Normal News, A Clown Named 'Doo Doo' Has Been Honoured For Rescuing Women From An Assault

Breaking: There is a not-terrifying clown in Canada.

A Canadian clown has been honoured for rescuing two women from an assault.

According to Mashable, Doo Doo the Clown (aka Shane Farberman) spotted a distressed man jumping up and down on a car in Toronto on Sunday afternoon.

After calling 911 and following in his own vehicle, Doo Doo then saw the man attempt to assault two women.

In what would have made their day only slightly stranger, the women witnessed Doo Doo – “in full costume and make-up” – screaming at them to get in his black hummer for safety.

They did, and in the backseat they found two further clowns.

(At least we know there would have been plenty of room for everyone, and then some, in Doo Doo's car.)

Doo Doo sped away as the man followed after them.

For his courage under fire, City Councillor Norm Kelly awarded Farberman a celebratory Toronto scroll. He, of course, collected it in full clown garb.

“You give an additional definition to the word clown. You weren’t clowning around. You were acting decisively and bravely,” Kelly said during the ceremony.

Bless you, Doo Doo.

Extra, weird fact: Shane Farberman played the clown in Billy Madison.
