Domino’s Has Added Broccoli to Their Pizza Toppings and We’re Not Even Mad

They’ve also added salmon and roast pumpkin.

Pizza toppings are always a controversial topic, and whether you like pineapple on your pizza or you have an inferior palette, it’s clear that some things do belong on pizza and some things just don’t.

To up the ante, Domino’s has chimed in and added three new pizza toppings to their Super Premium Pizza range, and boy are they debateable.

The biggest one on everyone’s cheesy lips is broccoli. Yep, Domino’s has added the broc to their list of foods that do (in their minds) belong on pizza.

Not gonna lie, I just have to agree with Domino’s on this one, broccoli is top tier.

Domino’s have decided to add the mean, green topper as a way to introduce some (sort-of) healthier options to their menu.

Sure, broccoli is an unconventional veggie to slap on a pizza, but it’s got to be one of their smartest choices yet.

Not only is broccoli touted as a superfood but it’s crunchy, fresh, flavourful, and soaks up pretty much any sauce you put on it. Plus, we can’t just skim over the fact that cheese sauce on broccoli is already a bomb favourite, so you can’t act like this is too out there.

On top of adding the green mini trees to their pizzas, Domino’s has also decided to introduce salmon (ick) and roast pumpkin.

Honestly, how broccoli got more flack than salmon I’ll never know.

Roast pumpkin on the other hand is another winner when it comes to pizza toppings. If you haven’t yet tried it, get on it.

The new pizzas come as a part of Domino’s Super Premium range, specifically for their three brand new recipes: Roasted Vegetable Deluxe, Salmon and Prawn Supreme, and Loaded Chicken and Parmesan.

They sound pretty good, ngl... minus the salmon (salmon slander forever).
