Domino's Has a New Super Premium Range Featuring Lots of Smokey Beef

*Chef's kiss.*

After a bunch of cheeky hype all over social media, Domino’s has finally revealed what new product they’ve got hidden up their dough-covered sleeves.

In an announcement on their socials today, the pizza place uncovered their new ‘Super Premium Range’ of pies, some featuring slow-cooked beef brisket from WA, crispy Peking dusk from Victoria’s Wimmera region, and vintage cheddar and farm-fresh rocket from Tasmania.

Oh lordy.

From the looks of things, they’re trying to take a step back from their ‘fast food’ persona and attempting to make a name for themselves in the gourmet pizza world.

Not only are they introducing new premium pizzas, but they reckon they’re so good that the company is petitioning the Australian Good Food Guide (AGFG) to be considered for a ‘Chef Hat'.

If this is the first time you’re hearing about a ‘Chef Hat’, same, dw. It’s essentially an award that recognises the culinary excellence of a dish based on a few very specific key factors.

These include ingredients, taste, presentation, technique, value, and consistency.

“We believe we tick all the boxes and more,” Domino’s ANZ Chief Executive Officer Nick Knight said in a statement.

Before you make a call on whether or not these fancy af pizzas have got a chance for the award, here’s the full list of new pizzas on offer.

Smoked Brisket Cheese Steak

To start off, the Smoked Brisket Cheese Steak features smokey West Aussie beef brisket, cintage cheddar, parmesan, mushroom, capsicum and red onion on a crème fraiche base.

Not sure how we feel about this one, but hey, if you like surf and turf you might like this bad boi.

Crispy BBQ Peking Duck

Finally, the last newbie on the menu features BBQ Peking duck, red onion and spring onions on a BBQ sauce base. Seems the simplest of the bunch.
