Deal With It: Cosplaying Granny Brings Lady Olenna from “Game of Thrones” to Life

Let’s just say this at the top: Spoilers for Game of Thrones’ seventh season ahead.

Lady Olenna Tyrell, aka the saltiest queen in Westeros (a title for which there is heavy competition), was dispatched in the most recent season of Game of Thrones by Jaime Lannister.

However, she didn’t go down without letting Ser Jaime know she was responsible for killing his son, King Joffrey. (We said there’d be spoilers.)

Now, an 85-year-old woman has resurrected Lady Olenna in all her salty glory, appearing in cosplay at Dragon Con 2017 with a sign that directly challenges Shaggy’s cardinal rule, declaring, “It was me”.

The grandma was the hit of the Atlanta, Georgia fantasy convention, getting snapped far and wide.
