Let Kit Harington and Emilia Clarke’s Faces Describe Their Icky “Game of Thrones” Scene

Spoilers for Game of Thrones’ seventh season ahead.
During the course of GOT’s abbreviated seventh season, two things were blindingly apparent: Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) would get it on, and we would finally get confirmation that Dany is actually Jon’s aunt.
This is very gross!
You could only imagine how Harington and Clarke felt shooting their climactic love scene. (Their characters still aren’t aware of their familial link, so on screen, they seemed just fine with it.)
Now, you no longer need to imagine, as a special featurette has been released to remind you that, yes, sometimes actors feel strange even when asked to perform incest.
“For us, as actors, it’s just weird,” Clarke explains.
“The reality of what they are to each other…” she says, before basically trailing off into this expression:

Harington—covered either in dandruff or fake snow—jokes that, while filming, he would fake-vom in Clarke’s direction:

Meanwhile, Peter Dinklage (aka Tyrion Lannister) offers this very Tyrion-esque review: “It’s not good. But it should be. But it’s not. It’s Game of Thrones.”
That’s really all you can say in a situation like this.
