Y’Know Who Loved Your Reaction to the "Game of Thrones" Finale? Robin Arryn

"I’ll be honest, this is the best I’ve ever had it in terms of memes."
If the 4.4/10 fan rating on IMDB is any indication—or, for that matter, the ceaseless, confused rage-screaming on Twitter—people really didn’t like that Game of Thrones finale.
*Spoilers incoming for the Game of Thrones series finale, "The Iron Throne".*
From the baffling decision to coronate Bran "I Have to Go Now, My Planet Needs Me” Stark, to the too-temperate climate of its climactic setting, to the fact that Jon’s resurrection from the dead and the reveal of his ancestry basically amounted to zip, everyone has something to complain about.
Everyone except for actor Lino Facioli, who in the span of the episode’s runtime went from being thought of as the weird, milk-suckling Robin Arryn from GOT’s early seasons, to the newly-christened "Hot Robin", First of His Name.
At the council meeting where Bran was crowned King, and where democracy was almost-but-not-quite invented, a brief cutaway to a now-grown Robin Arryn sent Twitter into a thirst spiral.

Speaking to Vulture after the episode aired, Facioli, now 18, seemed pretty happy with the internet’s collective change of heart.
"I’ll be honest, this is the best I’ve ever had it in terms of memes," he said.
"Being that weird kid on Game of Thrones … when I was a teenager, I was like, 'How do I deal with this?' I was not that comfortable with it. But it made me get tough skin and have fun with it. Even when it’s something that’s mocking you, it’s about just laughing at it and carrying on and enjoying it. It’s a better position that I’m in now, to be able to have more confidence in terms of that critical voice when I didn’t know how to deal with it."
As Tyrion said, nothing’s more powerful than a good story, and we have to say, the glow-up of Lino Facioli is the truest song of ice and fire.
