Cadbury’s Caramilk Bars Are Being Hocked on eBay for Beaucoup Bucks

Stocks on Wall Street may have plunged this week, but Caramilk is going strong.

Just like McDonald’s Szechuan sauce and Adele’s concert air before it, Cadbury’s Caramilk bars are being sold on the dark web (okay, just eBay) at inflated prices.

Ever since Cadbury re-released their throwback flavour (originally dropped back in 1994) chocolate lovers and nostalgists have lost their minds, emptying store stock and paying in the hundreds for a few of the sold-out limited edition blocks (which are meant to retail for $3) online.

That’s a lot of money to spend on 190g chunks of white chocolate and caramel. Then again, based on some reviews, it’s worth the money.

Others, however, are less impressed with the flavour, and just getting in the Caramilk game to pay off their student debt or fund a home deposit.

And then there are some spoilsports who aren't falling for Cadbury's ploy.

We certainly don’t endorse price gouging or people reselling chocolate (gross) on the internet just to make a buck—Caramilk is for the people!—but if anyone has a spare 20 – 30 blocks available, get in touch and name your price.
