Another "Rick and Morty" Fan Paid Nearly $20,000 for Szechuan Sauce Again

Fans of Rick and Morty have been going HAM on bids over a sauce McDonald's released 20 years ago.
Season Three's premiere featured a story that saw Rick travelling back in time to get his hands on the limited-time Szechuan sauce. It sparked a resurgence for the love of the sauce that was introduced to promote the release of Disney's Mulan back in 1998.
Since the episode, fans have been raiding their houses for the sachets and selling them on eBay for ridiculous amounts. Enter the latest absurd sale.
A 64-ounce bottle (about 1.9 litres) of Szechuan sauce sold for $US15,350, which is roughly equivalent to more than $AUD19,400. That approximately equates to $AUD10.20 per millilitre of sauce.

The seller has, thankfully, maintained that 25 per cent of the colossal sale will go to charities.
OK, charity update on #Szechuansauce!

I'm going to set aside 25 percent of total amount to donate to several charities equally. (1/?)
These include @ExtraLife4Kids, @TakeThisOrg, @AbleGamers, @GamersOutreach, @RMHC, and a couple of local ones. All equal shares. (2/?)

Even DJ deadmau5 had a stab at winning the world's most coveted sauce.
Earlier this year, another fan purchased a sachet of the sauce for about the same amount. So, by comparison, this a bargain.

I think that spending that much money on Sauce is ridiculous, its probably going to end up as a display piece.
