Brie Larson Crashed a "Captain Marvel" Screening, Worked the Candy Bar for a Bit

If only she had brought Goose the cat.

Captain Marvel star Brie Larson broke a huge box office glass ceiling, and is on track to similarly break Thanos’ face in Avengers: Endgame.

So, she celebrated like any celebrity would: by taking a shift at a New Jersey cinema.

The latest addition to the MCU visited an AMC theatre in Clifton, New Jersey to surprise cinemagoers about to watch her beat up a bunch of aliens, decked out in a custom Captain Marvel tracksuit. (Aside from the fact that the tracksuit is basically couture, going to the movies in almost-pyjama-like fabric is extremely relatable.)

As documented by the official Captain Marvel Twitter account, Larson than jumped behind the concession stand to serve fans their popcorn and drinks.

Doesn’t seem like the best allocation of time for the one woman who can undo the mass genocide wrought by Thanos at the end of Avengers: Infinity War, but still: seems like fun!

Funny story I wanted to take my little cousins to see the new #captainmarvel and we ended up seeing #captainmarvel herself @brielarson serving guests at our local #amc and she was kind enough to take time to speak with these young ladies and made this night one they won't forget.
