Robbin’ season approaching.

Fuel up your invisible cars: Atlanta is returning for its second season (checks watch) in just two weeks.

“Wait, that’s the American premiere date, right? Us poor Aussies are gonna have to wait until late August to see Donald Glover and pals in action,” you’re probably saying to yourself, as you forlornly kick a stone across the road.

Well, you can officially stop feeling sorry for yourself: Though we had to wait until 2017 to get the first season of Atlanta (which aired on FX in the United States back in 2016), the second season will be fast-tracked from the U.S., and debuts on SBS Viceland at 9:20pm on 2 March 2018.

(Episode Two will air on 9 March at 9:25pm, just to complicate things.)

The new trailer for Atlanta Robbin’ Season (as the second season is officially titled) shows Earn (Glover) still living in his storage space, while Paper Boi (Brian Tyree Henry) reckons with increasing fame. Darius (Lakeith Stanfield) is also there, being Darius. And Van (Zazie Beetz) gets to rock a Swiss Miss outfit.

Anyway, it’s all very mysterious. Here’s hoping the eleven-episode season can live up to the original’s hype, considering it collected (deep breath) two Golden Globes, two Emmy awards and two WGA awards.

Remember that date, Australia: 2 March.
