All the Men Taylor Swift Looks Like in “The Man” Music Video

She's unrecognisable.

Have you ever wondered what Taylor Swift would look like if she was a man? Yeah, probably not. Well, you're about to find out anyway, because the pop megastar's latest music video for her single "The Man" sees her transform completely into a dude. 

Sporting a wig, suit and sideburns, the singer portrays a wealthy white male who is used to getting whatever he wants in life. 

It's actually pretty astonishing. If you haven't seen the video, which has been viewed 7.6 million times since it premiered last night, prepare to be blown away.

Queen Taylor has always loved to use her work to fire shots at people who have wronged her. Her music video for "The Man" is no different, with obvious shade thrown towards Scooter Braun, Kanye West and Leonardo DiCaprio. Considering the overarching theme of the track is fighting the patriarchy, this shade was to be expected. 

But the most interesting thing about the video by far is the fact that Taylor is totally unidentifiable as a male. 

In fact, the transformation is so convincing that some people didn't even realise it was her until the end of the music video.

What's even more compelling: Tay kinda looks like some of the other men in Hollywood.

Here are some of the most obvious comparisons. 

Jake Gyllenhaal

The internet has quickly picked up on how much Taylor resembles actor Jake Gyllenhaal in the music video. Given the songwriter's relationship with Jake was one of her most public romances, it raises the question: did she look like him on purpose?

After all, their relationship didn't end well, and the actor now refuses to answer questions about Tay. 

Between the sideburns, beard and hair colour, the similarity is seriously uncanny. Plus, there's even a scene of Taylor playing tennis, which can be likened to Jake's role in Vampire Weekend's "Giving Up The Gun" video.

Adam Scott

Okay, Tay might only have the same facial hair as actor and comedian Adam Scott (Parks and Recreation) in the video, but there's something there. Remember when Adam played Ted Hendricks in The Secret Life of Walter Mitty? The resemblance is indisputable! 

Possibly a long-lost brother?

Tom Cruise

There's simply no denying that Tay looks like a young and taller Tom Cruise in the music video. She might as well have just stepped off the set of Collateral.

Additionally, did anyone else pick up on the fact that she wears an almost identical jacket to the Mission: Impossible actor?

Scott Disick

Stans have also pointed out that Taylor could be Scott Disick's doppelgänger, particularly in the scene where she's wearing sunglasses. 

Honestly, it could have been him playing the role the entire time. 

Leonardo DiCaprio

Additionally, while Taylor doesn't look too much like Leonardo DiCaprio, it's pretty evident that she's mocking him throughout the music video.

There are several nods to his film The Wolf of Wall Street, and in the song she sings, "I'd be just like Leo, in Sant-Tropez".

One thing's for sure: Taylor has found her voice, and she's definitely using it. Oh, and she makes a weirdly convincing man.
