Adam Sandler Was Spotted Playing a Pick-Up Basketball Game and the Internet Is in Love

Happy Gilmore is baller.
Actor and comedian Adam Sandler set the Twitter world on fire overnight after a video surfaced of the actor proving he can play with the best of them on the court.
Showing up at a pick-up game in Long Island, Sandler—who was wearing his trademark baggy shirt and shorts that were three sizes too big—was dropping dimes all over the court.
Gotta say, for 54-years-old, Sandler ain’t no slouch on the court. Man's got game.
Despite the great passes the actor was making, the much younger players on his team couldn’t sink the shots.
The Uncut Gems star is a massive New York Knicks fan and is a courtside regular at their home games.
Even behind the camera, Sandler likes to include basketball in most of his films with Grown Ups featuring a grudge match at the end of the movie, and the entire plot of Uncut Gems—easily Sandler’s best film—centering on Sandler getting in too deep with some gambling debts with Boston Celtics power forward Kevin Garnett.
Here’s what the NBA world had to say about Sandler’s pick-up appearance.

Before his appearance on the court, Sandler made news last week after being turned away by an oblivious IHOP hostess 'cos there was a 30-minute wait for milkshakes.
The man just wants a milkshake dammit!
Sandler tweeted about the instance saying that he “only left the IHOP because the nice woman told me the all-you-can-eat deal didn’t apply to the milkshakes.”
Of course, the internet loved the tweet and a charity event called Milkshake Monday was quickly set up. For every milkshake sold at IHOP that day, $US1 was dontated to the nonprofit Comedy Gives Back.
The actor returned to the IHOP for Milkshake Monday and surprised the embarrassed server.
Seriously, is Sandler not the nicest guy on the planet?
