An absolute chaotic, hilarious bloodfest of a film - Abigail.

We spoke to several stars of the film about their time on set, and it's clear they had a fantastic time working together.

Known most recently for leading the latest Scream films alongside Jenna Ortega, Melissa Barrera plays another badass lead in Abigail as Joey.

Joey joins a group of criminals who are tasked with kidnapping seemingly innocent 12 year-old girl Abigail, played by Alisha Weir.

Alisha Weir made her big acting debut as Matilda in Matilda the Musical, and trust us when we say Alisha is truly terrifying as a vampire ballerina villain in this film.

Kathryn Newton is also no stranger to horror films and to Student Edge - we interviewed her for the film Freaky back in 2020!

You might know her most recently as Cassie Lang from Antman and the Wasp: Quantumania, and in Abigail she plays techie Sammy.
