Kathryn Newton Zoomed Us to Chat "Freaky" and Swapping Bodies With Vince Vaughn

What's harder: Being a teenage girl or a middle-aged murderer?

If you were a fan of director Christopher Landon's Happy Death Day, you'll definitely want to watch his latest horror film Freaky.

Starring Kathryn Newton and Vince Vaughn, the wildly entertaining flick follows Millie (Newton), a high school student who becomes the newest target of the Blissfield Butcher (Vaughn).

When the Butcher's mystical ancient dagger causes him and Millie to wake up in each other's bodies, Millie learns that she has just 24 hours to get her body back before the switch becomes permanent and she's trapped in the form of a middle-aged maniac forever.

Student Edge Editor Caitlin Paroczai caught up with Kathryn over Zoom to chat about what filming the movie was like and how Kathryn felt about working with Vince.

Caitlin also asked Kathryn the most important question: Is being a teenage girl or a middle-aged murderer more difficult?

Check out the full interview below.

Freaky lands in Australian cinemas on 12 November.
