Just like every Scream movie, Scream VI has another star-studded cast including Aussie gal Samara Weaving and Tony Revolori, who you may know most recently as Flash Thompson from the latest Spider-Man trilogy.

For those unfamiliar with the Scream franchise, the movies work as a whodunit – Ghostface can be anyone under the mask, and the final acts of the movies are heart-pumping, grand reveals.

The first movie released in 1996, with arguably one of the most famous horror scenes of all time - Ghostface calling a young Drew Barrymore on a landline phone with the infamous line “what’s your favourite scary movie?”

The movies have evolved over time and become creative with the use of mobile phones and modern technology, and the Ghostface killers also becoming just as clever.

This year, Ghostface has been making their appearance known all over the Scream social media accounts.

From hilarious in-character replies on Twitter, to a Scream VI themed crossword – Ghostface’s social media game is strong. One of their most recent TikTok’s was of Jenna Ortega at the Golden Globes red carpet with text-to-speech saying ‘enjoy it while it lasts’. Creepy.
