Your Beautiful Bebes Andy Samberg and Sandra Oh Will Host the Golden Globes

They’re… they’re beautiful.

Not only is Brooklyn Nine-Nine no longer dead, but star Andy Samberg has just commandeered another show. (He cannot be stopped!)

And whatta show. Samberg has been announced by the Hollywood Foreign Press as one of the two hosts of its upcoming Golden Globes ceremony, alongside your other fave, Killing Eve’s Sandra Oh.

Both Samberg and Oh have previously won Globes (Samby for B99; Oh for Grey’s Anatomy) and it’s possible they could each be nominated again this year when the nods are announced tomorrow.

They become the first pair to co-host the Globes since Tina Fey and Amy Poehler teamed up for three consecutive years. Oh is also the first person of colour and the first person of Asian descent to MC.

Here’s what happened the last time they got on stage together, at this year’s Emmys.

Meanwhile, Kevin Hart was yesterday revealed to be the host of the upcoming Academy Awards, which is fine too, but the Oh/Samberg duo is the one to watch. And you can do just that when the Globes go down in Los Angeles on 6 January (local time). That means 7 January for the rest of us in Australia. And yes, that's mere days before B99 returns.

2019, be here now.
