You Cannot Mythbust Ariana Grande: The Internet Has Solved Her "Stool Pose" Once and For All

I guess we got one less problem now.

For eons—okay, since 2014—scholars have wrestled with one seemingly impossible question: How exactly is Ariana Grande sitting on that stool on the My Everything cover?

Well, it can’t be a coincidence that on the same day global scientists managed to witness a cataclysmic star collision, heralding a new dawn in astrophysical enquiry, we also settled the stool-sitting debate.

It was reignited today by Jesse McLaren on Twitter, who attempted to expose Grande’s pose as fraudulent. Fraudulent!

Of course, what Jesse forgot is that Ariana is many things (an inspirational figure of unity; a notorious licker of donuts), but what she is not is fraudulent. And many on Twitter came to Grande’s defence, with evidence that her position is indeed doable.
