Women Respond To A Guy Who Said Females Older Than 20 Shouldn't Wear Yoga Pants

A man in the US wrote a letter to his local paper criticising women over the age of 20 for wearing yoga pants in public. Let's just say, it didn't go down well.
Rhode Island resident Alan Sorrentino wrote a letter to the editor at EastBayRI called, "Please, women, put away the yoga pants".
In his letter he wrote: "Yoga pants can be adorable on children and young women who have the benefit of nature's blessing of youth."
"However, on the mature, adult women there is something bizarre and disturbing about the appearance they make in public."
Umm, okay?
Needless to say, his letter ruffled a few feathers (and rightfully so).
One comment on the letter reads: "What nerve. How dare you. We will wear whatever we want - as long as we are not violating any laws." Another person writes: "Women have had it with men's beer bellies, unshaven faces, body odor, skid marks, you name it!"
The BBC reports one woman who read his letter, Jamie Burke, felt his comments were so unfair that she organised a parade. She called for women to make their stand in public, in all their yoga pant wearing glory.
She described reading Sorrentino's comments and feeling as though they were a "punch in the gut".
"For years men have been policing our clothes choices and I thought it was important that women had their say," Burke said.

Women should be able to wear what they want, and feel confident in whatever they choose to wear.
