We Asked, “What is the Scariest Thing You’ve Ever Seen?”—Here Are Your Creepiest Stories

Whether it was a glimpse of the supernatural, a movie that made you sick to your stomach, a close encounter with danger or something straight-up unexplainable, we’ve all had a freaky experience or two.
To celebrate the release of Smile, the latest horror flick on the block, we asked you to tell us in 25 words or less: what is the scariest thing you have EVER seen?
20 lucky (or traumatised) people are walking away with tickets to Smile for their entries that shocked and engrossed the Student Edge Team. But FYI, one was a little too scary to post.

When I was babysitting my nephew I heard a noise and looked into the monitor and an adult shadowy face was smiling back at me. - (Megan, TAS).

I went outside to hang out the washing and while I was outside I heard noises in the house and then the front door close. (I had it all shut up except the back door and some windows.)
It's something I heard. It wasn't my baby daughter we heard on the monitor it was a male voice. Perhaps the technology wasn't as good in the '90s and that wouldn't happen now.
