We’re Not Blaming Meghan, But: "Suits" Is Coming to an End In 2019

You may or may not be surprised to learn replacing Meghan Markle with Katherine Heigl on Suits was not enough to keep the show going for another ten years.
It has been announced that Suits will hang up its jacket in 2019, following a 10-episode ninth season.
The second half of Season 8 kicks off this week, on Foxtel's Universal Channel in Australia. However, according to the Hollywood Reporter, the final batch of episodes will also air before the year is out.
It’s not all bad news: a spin-off titled Pearson is upcoming, starring Suits’ own Gina Torres, where she’ll reprise the role of Jessica Pearson. It doesn’t have a launch date just yet.
This time last year, outgoing princess, Meghan Markle, was joined in her exit by on-screen boyfriend/husband Patrick J. Adams. There was a slight shakeup in the cast, with Dulé Hill promoted to series regular and the addition of Katherine Heigl.
Alas, ‘twas not enough.
The question is, can they convince Meghan (and, okay Patrick as well) to cameo before the show ends for good?
Look… probably not. But the countdown to convince her is on.

The first seven seasons of Suits are available on Netflix in Australia. Season 8 is airing express from the U.S. on Foxtel's Universal Channel, weekly on Thursdays at 8:30pm AEDT beginning 24 January. There is no Netflix launch date for Suits S8 at this time.
