Wanted Genius Posts To Victoria Police's Facebook Page From Public Account

You don’t need to be a criminal mastermind to know that a key element of hiding from the police is not posting to their Facebook page from a public account.

Wanted man Daniel Damon demonstrated his genius when he responded to a post on Victoria Police’s Facebook page, in which they asked for the public’s assistance in locating the 25-year-old Epsom resident.

“Well this is a bit of a stick in the mud,” he joked, unwittingly doing the police’s job for them.

As noted by Pedestrian… yeah, his now-very-easily-located account page has heaps of information about where he regularly spends time, who he’s friends with, and which music he likes. (Frank Ocean, interestingly.) So, it doesn’t seem like the hunt for Danny will be a particularly long one.

Satisfyingly, his joke about having “a horrible mugshot” was trumped by Vic Police’s cheerful rejoinder.
