Vale, Church: Lead Feline From "Pet Sematary" Has Tragically Passed Away

Leo, AKA Pet Sematary's Church, tragically died just weeks after the movie's premiere.
Just weeks after the release of Pet Sematary comes the news that the movie's lead cat, Leo, has sadly died.
Leo was one of four cats that played "Church" in the film, but he was specifically the one in the zombified cat makeup.

It's a bad time for famous cat lovers after the internet's most famous cat, Grumpy Cat, also passed at age seven after medical complications.
The announcement of Leo's death was made on his personal Instagram, run by owner and Hollywood animal trainer Kirk Jarrett.
According to the Instagram post, Leo passed due to a congenital heart defect, called arterial thromboembolus, that his breed (Maine Coon) is susceptible to.
Leo the cat from Pet Sematary died and I think this is the hardest celebrity death I ever had to deal with, tbh. 💔 pic.twitter.com/7vkrFdtah1
