Not Fake News: Trump Might Have to Unblock His Twitter Haters and Absorb the Abuse (For Legal Reasons)

A legal group has sent U.S. President Donald Trump a letter demanding he unblock his haters online, saying he's in violation of America's First Amendment.
Columbia University’s Knight First Amendment Institute sent a letter to President Trump arguing his Twitter account is a public space and that by blocking some of his most ardent critics, he is suppressing free speech.

Knight Institute’s Executive Director, Jameel Jaffer, said that while America's Constitution was not written in the Twitter age, it was written to prevent Presidents from banishing views that they did not agree with.
"This is a context in which the Constitution precludes the President from making up his own rules," Jaffer said.
Sean Spicer, the administration's press secretary, recently said that Tweets from Trump's personal Twitter account (@realDonaldTrump) were "official statements by the president of the United States."
Here are some examples of official statements from the president.
If President Trump doesn't comply with their demands, the Knight Institute has threatened legal action.
