T.R.U. Love: 2 Chainz Just Proposed to His Wife, Again, on the Met Gala Red Carpet

Dreams really do come true at the annual Met Gala.

First, 2018 honourary co-chair Rihanna turned up dressed as the Pope. (Send the Cardinals back to the Vatican, because it’s time for a recount; sorry Francis.)

Then, rapper 2 Chainz (aka Tauheed Epps and formerly Tity Boi, never forget), seemingly swept away by the emotion of the event, dropped to one knee and proposed to his longtime partner Nakesha Ward, despite the fact they are already married and have three children together.

Speaking to Complex, 2 Chainz revealed he made the decision to present Ward with a new ring “about a minute ago”.

The pair was initially married in 2013. Thankfully, she said “yes” this second time as well.

Maybe they can get Pope Rihanna to oversee their next nuptials.
