Tom Hiddleston Enrages Conspiracy Theorists; Confirms He's Dating Taylor Swift And They're "Very Happy"

The Television Academy fooled Tom Hiddleston into commenting on his relationship with Taylor Swift by giving him an Emmy nomination and forcing him to front media for requisite “Where were you when you heard?” interviews.

(Hiddleston received a nod for his lead performance in the John Le Carré series The Night Manager.)

It was THR that finally confronted him with the suggestion that his relationship with Swift was a stunt.

Apparently, he returned “an unequivocal no”.

“Well, um. How best to put this?" he elaborated, reportedly chuckling.

"The truth is that Taylor Swift and I are together, and we're very happy. Thanks for asking."

The confirmation will come as a great relief to those who began shipping Hiddleswift the moment they were spied dancing at the Met Gala.

Of course, this could all be part of the giant conspiracy theory too.

After all, Hiddleston is a pretty good actor. He was literally just nominated for an Emmy. FOR PLAYING A SECRET AGENT.
