Today Is National Cheeseburger Day So McDonald's Is Giving Away Free Cheeseburgers

There's never been a bizarre national day more important than today: National Cheeseburger Day.

While the origin of the day is shrouded in mystery (most likely randomly declared by a cheeseburger fanatic and everyone just went along with it), there's no denying that it's definitely a thing.

So, to celebrate, your cheeseburger connoisseurs, Maccy D's, are giving away a tonne of the bun and cheese delights today. When I say a tonne, I'm talking 100,000 big ones.

To redeem your free cheeseburger, you've just got to hit up the mymacca's app and order through there. There are no real catches except that it's only on for today from 10:30am until 11:50pm and it's obviously while stocks last (which is hopefully a while given that it's 100,000 cheeseburgers).

Get cheesy, my friends.
