They Brought an Emmy to Ramy’s House, Then Took It Away When He Lost

Sorry, Ramy.

Schitt’s Creek is sweeping the socially-distanced Emmys this year, which is great news for Canada, but not so great news for anyone else competing in its Comedy categories.

That includes Ramy Youssef, who won Best Actor in a Comedy Series at the Golden Globes back in January, which took place in a crowded amphitheatre, but lost to Eugene Levy at September's Emmy, which is taking place at everyone's house instead.

However, because 2020 has been torn out of the "too far-fetched" wastepaper basket of Westworld’s writer’s room, there are people in hazmat tuxedos visiting some winners to hand them awards in person.

But Youssef, who is also the creator of Ramy (on Hulu in America and Stan in Australia), gave us a bubble-piercing glimpse at what happens "when you lose the emmy," suggesting that they're rocking up to all the nominees' places just in case?
