Here’s Everything We Know About The Weeknd’s Upcoming Album “Dawn FM”

Featuring… Jim Carrey?

The Weeknd is pulling a Beyonce-style surprise album release, by dropping it on us all unexpectedly at midnight on 7 January. And we’re not ready.

The album is called “Dawn FM”, and the “Blinding Lights” hitmaker has been teasing all the deets for the past few days. Here’s everything we know so far.

The official album art features The Weeknd in an old man get-up.

The Weeknd is no stranger to insane costumes and makeup FX. Remember all his iconic Halloween looks?

It seems he still has a passion for reinventing himself for every album release, and this time he’s making a comeback as a geriatric old gentleman. Time will tell what this means!

There’s a star-studded line up of collaborations.

Tyler, the Creator, Lil Wayne, Quincy Jones and Oneohtrix Point Never are all slated to lend their musical chops to the album.

Curiously, actor Jim Carrey also joins the list. We are intrigued to say the least…

The tracklist has been announced, and we’re ready to cry.

Among the 16 tracks revealed in the teaser clip is “Take My Breath”, the hit single released mid-2021.

And we’re sure to be breathless with other titles like “How Do I Make You Love Me?” and “Is There Someone Else?” Prepare the tissues.
