The Trailer for "To All the Boys 2" Is Here, and Lara Jean Has A New Love Interest

Looks like we’re in for an inevitable love triangle.

If you’re anything like us, you are keeping your 2020 Valentine’s Day plans free, so you can watch To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before: P.S. I Still Love You.

Scheduled to arrive on Netflix next year on 12 February, we have been biding our time by staring at Noah Centineo posters, eagerly waiting for our first look at the sequel.

It’s not creepy, we promise.

However, we’ve finally been put out of our misery, because the trailer for the upcoming film is finally here. As suspected, it’s filled with romance, drama and many hair accessories.

If you haven’t watched it yet, now is the time. But be warned: it will give you all of the feels.

For the most part, the trailer looks like it follows on from the first flick, with Lara Jean (Lana Condor) and Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo) now in a real-life relationship. It also goes back to where it all began, with a quick recap of the events that ultimately led to the two becoming an actual couple.

Throughout the trailer, we see Lara Jean and Peter on cute dates, and seemingly loving spending time with each other. Although, this is To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, and unfortunately, nothing can stay perfectly happy forever.

Enter: John Ambrose McClaren.

In the book, John Ambrose (Jordan Fisher) and Lara Jean were friends in middle school until he moved away. He had a massive crush on her and had planned on asking her to the formal in 8th grade. In the first movie, he was played by Jordan Burtchett, and very briefly appeared on Lara Jean’s doorstep with a love letter that was accidentally sent to him.

According to a tweet from the official "To All the Boys" account, the sequel will follow the second installment in the book series. So, if you flocked to buy the books when the first film came out, you probably have a good idea as to what might happen.

On the other hand, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before did change a few things from the source material, so it’s possible that we could be in for some surprises.

Either way, the trailer definitely teases a love triangle between Lara Jean, Peter and John, and we cannot wait to see how that unfolds.

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before: P.S. I Still Love You lands on Netflix on 12 February 2020.
